What Did Audi Change for the 2023 Audi e-tron GT?

Since its inaugural model year, the Audi e-tron GT has defied commonly held, if misguided, notions of what an electric vehicle can offer in terms of performance. As we’re on the cusp of another model year, the team at Audi City Ottawa wanted to profile a few changes our manufacturing partner made to the 2023 Audi e-tron GT. Audi didn’t completely redesign the e-tron GT, but sharp-eyed Audi City Ottawa customers will notice some of the updates, especially if a 2022 model is sitting next to a 2023 model. Let’s take a closer look.

2023 Audi e-tron GT Exterior Updates

The Audi e-tron GT has a sleek and aggressive silhouette that looks like it’s ready to take off at any moment. Our manufacturing partner isn’t going to do anything that will take away from that. When the 2023 model goes on sale, it will feature a body-colour matching grille. This replaces the Hekla Gray grille used on previous versions. Additionally, 20-inch all-season tires will be standard equipment in 2023. Audi City Ottawa customers choosing Prestige models can opt for the new 21-inch 10-spoke wheel designs.

Interior Upgrades for the 2023 Audi e-tron GT

Audi’s updates to the interior of the latest e-tron GT are a little more subtle than what we’re expecting to see on its exterior. Some of what we’re expecting to see will include:

  • Standard Bang and Olufsen sound system
  • Executive package now available
  • LED interior lights and heated seats part of Executive package

Will the 2023 RS e-tron GT be Different?

For the most part, the same changes described above for the e-tron GT will be found on the RS e-tron GT. However, there are a few notable differences for the RS model only, including:

  • New standard carbon atlas matte inlays
  • Available Ceramic brakes with Anthracite calipers
  • 21-Inch 5-double-spoke wheels

Will the Performance Specs Change in 2023?

Audi doesn’t appear to be making any changes to the performance or electric powertrain for the 2023 Audi e-tron GT. The high-performance electric vehicle will still be able to produce up to 522 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque with boost engaged. We expect the 2023 e-tron GT to be able to travel up to 383 km and use DC fast charging to replenish its batter from 5% to 80% in fewer than 23 minutes.
