2023-Audi-e-tron side profile

The product experts at Audi City Ottawa have spent a lot of time over the last several months educating new and existing customers about the e-tron family’s advantages as electric vehicles. Mostly, we focused on driving range and charging times. It has recently occurred to us that we may have overlooked educating those same people on just how practical these vehicles can be for active owners or people with growing families. Let’s take a closer look at some things you might want to know.

How Much Cargo Room do Audi EVs Have?

Except for the Audi e-tron GT and RS GT, the automaker’s entire e-tron lineup falls somewhere on the compact crossover SUV or wagon spectrum. Audi engineers have deftly designed these vehicles to take advantage of the automaker’s proprietary electric drivetrain without sacrificing dynamic handling characteristics. These vehicles also take full advantage of each model’s unique geometry, making for some of the most generous cargo bays available in the automotive industry segment.

Take a look at the information below to see how much cargo room each Audi e-tron SUV or wagon has to offer.

Can Audi Electric Vehicles be Used for Towing?

If an owner of one of the available Audi e-tron models needs to haul something that won’t fit in the rear cargo area, some models are approved for towing when the proper equipment is installed. For instance, the updated 2023 Audi e-tron has a peak towing capacity of 1,814 kg (4,000 lbs.), when adequately equipped. Electric drivetrains are well-known for producing a lot of torque – which is what is needed to tow.

This, of course, is only the very beginning of what the family of Audi electric vehicles is capable of bringing to the table for future owners. Make an appointment with an Audi City Ottawa product expert, today, to learn more.
