The Q5 uses a turbocharged four cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower and 295 lb ft of torque. It can reach 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. Those numbers give it useful strength for merging, passing and carrying passengers without making the drive feel harsh.

Power is delivered through standard quattro all wheel drive. The system is designed to improve traction when the road becomes wet, snowy or uneven. It works in the background, so the driver can focus on steering and the road ahead.

Available adaptive cruise assist can maintain a chosen time and distance from the vehicle ahead. It can also provide steering support to help keep the Q5 centred in its lane. This can reduce some effort during long highway drives or slow traffic.

The system is made to support an attentive driver. It does not replace careful observation, proper braking or safe steering. Road markings, weather and traffic conditions can affect how driver assistance features operate.



Better Awareness Starts With Clear Information

The Q5 places important driving details where they are easy to see. A standard 11.9 inch Audi virtual cockpit works beside the standard 14.5 inch MMI touch display. The available head up display can project useful information into the driver’s field of vision, which helps reduce the need to look away from the road.

Audi connect also provides intelligent navigation, remote vehicle services, remote start and selected security features. These tools can make daily vehicle use feel simpler before the journey begins.

A Ride That Can Read the Road

The Q5 is designed to balance comfort with controlled handling. Its suspension keeps the SUV settled during normal driving, while the steering feels direct enough to make the vehicle easy to place.

Available adaptive air suspension adds another level of flexibility. It can adjust automatically as driving conditions change. Ride height can also be changed when extra clearance or a different driving feel is wanted. This feature is optional, so availability depends on the selected trim and equipment.


Confidence After the Sun Goes Down

Standard LED headlights provide clear lighting for evening travel. Available customizable daytime running light signatures add a personal touch while helping the Q5 remain visible. The available rear projection light displays the quattro wordmark when the vehicle stops, adding a memorable detail.

The Q5 also offers an available forward facing dashcam. It records in 4K at 30 frames per second and stores footage on an owner supplied SD card. This can provide an added record of certain moments on the road.
