Compared with the outgoing 2025 Audi Q5 45 TFSI, the new model brings stronger performance, a more expressive shape and a major cabin technology upgrade. More Energy for the Everyday Drive

Both models use a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder engine, a seven speed S tronic transmission and quattro all wheel drive. The 2025 Q5 45 TFSI produces 261 horsepower and 273 lb ft of torque. The 2026 Q5 raises output to 268 horsepower and 295 lb ft, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds.
That added torque should feel useful when joining Highway 417 or passing on the way toward Gatineau Park. Standard quattro also brings reassuring traction when Ottawa roads become snowy or wet.

A Shape With New Confidence

The 2025 Q5 has the clean, understated appearance Audi owners know well. The 2026 model keeps that restraint but adds more presence through a wide Singleframe grille, a smoother roofline and a rear LED light strip. LED headlights are standard, while customizable daytime running light signatures are available.
Inside, an available panoramic glass sunroof adds natural light. The optional S line black package brings sport seats, dark exterior details, 20 inch wheels and a flat top and bottom steering wheel. These additions give the 2026 cabin a sportier personality without making it feel excessive.


The Cabin Takes Its Biggest Leap

Technology creates the clearest difference. The 2025 Q5 uses a 10.1 inch MMI touchscreen with a 12.3 inch Audi virtual cockpit. The 2026 Q5 introduces an 11.9 inch virtual cockpit beside a much larger standard 14.5 inch MMI display, creating a broader and more modern digital environment.An available 10.9 inch passenger display gives the front passenger access to supported apps. Other available upgrades include a forward facing 4K dashcam, a head up display and a 16 speaker, 685 watt Bang & Olufsen sound system. The 2025 setup remains easy to understand, but the new cabin feels several years ahead.



Helpful Technology Without the Fuss

Both model years offer useful driver assistance. On the 2026 Q5, available adaptive cruise assist can maintain a selected distance from the vehicle ahead and help keep the SUV centred in its lane.
